HTX CONNECT: IN MOTION is a one-of-a-kind contemporary dance film experience designed for advanced dancers looking to expand their artistry beyond the stage and into the world of movement on camera. This immersive weekend event blends contemporary training, creative collaboration, and film production into an unforgettable artistic experience.
Led by choreographer Anastasia Miller, dancers will explore the unique skills required for camera performance while learning and creating original choreography specifically designed for film. Throughout the weekend, participants will develop a deeper understanding of movement quality, storytelling, spatial awareness, and how performance translates through the lens in a cinematic setting.
Taking place November 21–23, 2026, dancers will work together on location in Houston, Texas to create a professionally filmed dance project in an inspiring environment that encourages creativity, vulnerability, and artistic growth.
